š Job Description
A 2-year full-time position is available in the laboratory of hematopoietic stem cells and
leukaemia in UMR1274 INSERM/CEA/Universities Paris-CitƩ/Paris-Saclay in Fontenay-aux-
Roses led by Dr FranƧoise Pflumio. This position is supported by a grant from the Fondation
de France, and ideally can start early in 2026. We are looking for a highly motivated young Research Engineer who would be interested in joining a research program devoted to studying the role of oncogenic fusions in driving expansion and chemoresistance of human leukaemia.
The project will benefit from the supervision of several well-experienced researchers of the
laboratory.
š Candidate Profile
The candidate needs to show solid knowledge in cellular and molecular biology, in
relation to onco-hematology. Academic knowledge of the leukemogenic processes
is important to understand and participate in the experiments necessary for the
project. Technical skills in cell culture, multiparameter flow cytometry (analyses) and
molecular biology are mandatory to work on the project. Knowledge and skills in
preclinical in vivo models are positive hints for being considered for the position.
He/she will need to be able to integrate a team for his/her practical work, in particular
in the supervision of researchers and working with students. A good level of English
language is important in terms of writing, oral presentation and discussion of results.
š¬About the lab
The lab is located near Paris, France, easily accessible using public transportation. The
team is part of the Cellular and Molecular Biology Institute of Commissariat Ć lāEnergie
Atomique et Energies Alternatives. We have all the necessary technical platforms to
successfully develop this project (flow cytometry, animal colony comprising immune-deficient
mice, irradiation facilities, confocal microscopy, molecular biology platform, ā¦). Proximity to
other Parisian Institutes facilitates technical exchanges.
Interested candidates should send a CV, a motivation letter, and a reference letter to:
